Contacting Family Tree Maker Users via the FTMTech-L Mailing List

The FTMTECH-L mailing list is another way to get support for Family Tree Maker. A mailing list allows a group of people - in this case Family Tree Maker Users - to communicate with each other. When you send an e-mail message to the mailing list, the message is forwarded to everyone who has subscribed to that mailing list.

To subscribe to the FTMTECH-L mailing list, send a message to the following e-mail address: FTMTECH-L-REQUEST@LISTS.BEST.COM. Leave the subject line of your e-mail message blank, but in the body of the message type the word "subscribe."

Shortly after sending this e-mail message, you will receive an informational introductory message. At any time after this, you can share your Family Tree Maker questions with all other members of the mailing list by sending them in an e-mail message to FTMTECH-L@LISTS.BEST.COM. If you ever have an administrative question regarding the list, please send an e-mail message to FTMTECH-L-OWNER@LISTS.BEST.COM.

You initially will receive the digest version of the FTMTECH-L mailing list. This means that you will receive one large e-mail message containing everyone else's questions, rather than multiple individual e-mail messages each containing one question. If you would instead like to receive each message as an individual e-mail, send another message to FTMTECH-L-REQUEST@LISTS.BEST.COM.
